REPIC Clinic Gangnam · Acne scar treatment

Can I fit acne scar treatment into a short trip to Korea, and how should I plan it?

Yes. REPIC Clinic Gangnam in Seoul sees international patients for acne scar treatment on short stays, and a doctor plans the visit around your arrival and departure dates.

Because scar treatment usually works as a series, the doctor will explain what one visit can do and what a follow-up plan would look like; for Potenza, mild redness and swelling for 1–3 days is expected, with full recovery in 5–7 days.

What one visit can and cannot do

Many visitors only have a few days in Seoul. A single session can be a reasonable start, but scar treatment is generally planned as a series — that is why REPIC Scar Care and Potenza are both offered as multiple-session packages. During the consultation the doctor looks at your scars, asks how long you are staying and whether you expect to come back to Korea, and then explains what is realistic for this trip.

Individual results and timing vary. The doctor will not schedule a treatment that does not fit your dates; instead, you may be advised to do one step now and the rest on a later visit.

Timing within your stay

If you plan to treat scars, try to visit early in your trip rather than the day before you leave. That leaves time for the first days of redness or swelling to settle and for you to ask questions in person. For Potenza, our treatment page lists mild redness and swelling for 1–3 days, full recovery in 5–7 days, and no makeup for 24–48 hours. Saunas, heavy sweating and hot showers should be avoided for 48 hours, and sunscreen should be used daily.

For REPIC Scar Care, expected downtime depends on which steps are combined and is explained before treatment. Tell the doctor about any plans that matter — beach days, photos, or a flight on a particular day — so the plan takes them into account.

Frequently asked questions

Should I book scar treatment at the start or the end of my trip?
Earlier is usually easier, so the first days of redness or swelling can settle while you are still in Seoul. The doctor will advise based on the treatment.
Can I complete a full series in one trip?
Usually not, because sessions are spaced apart. The doctor explains what can be done now and what a follow-up plan could look like.
Can I wear makeup the next day?
After Potenza, waiting 24–48 hours before makeup is recommended. For other treatments, the doctor gives specific guidance.
Can I come on a weekend?
Yes. The clinic is open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 18:00, and closes only on the day of Seollal and the day of Chuseok.
Who do I contact if I have a question after flying home?
Message us on WhatsApp, LINE, KakaoTalk or WeChat, or send an email, and our team will reply.
