Prices are from Repic Gangnam's September 2026 price list and exclude 10% VAT, which is added at payment. The same prices apply to Korean and international patients; the tax-refund scheme for cosmetic procedures is no longer available in Korea. Final pricing depends on the area and dose, and you get an exact quote after the skin assessment. A 600-shot session takes about 60 minutes. Why does Thermage cost different amounts at different clinics?
Not because the machines differ. Thermage FLX tips are single-use and the device counts every shot. Six hundred shots in Gangnam are six hundred shots anywhere else. What changes is everything around them.
- Shot count. Put a 300-shot quote next to a 600-shot price and the first one looks cheap. Divide by the number of shots and compare per shot.
- Tip type. Face, eye and body tips are priced differently. If you read Eye Thermage 225 shots at KRW 990,000 as "face Thermage for under a million", the math falls apart.
- Who treats you. Ask during the consultation who does the marking and who fires the last shot.
When I look at a quote, I read how those three lines are written before I read the number.
What should I ask when I get a Thermage quote?
Three questions cover it. How many shots? Which tip? Who performs it? Add a fourth: is the price before or after tax? Compare only quotes that answer all four clearly, and the numbers start to make sense. At Repic, the consultation fee is fully deducted if you go ahead with treatment the same day.
Quotes vary even within a single Gangnam block. Devices are concentrated here and many patients shop around, which pushes prices down. Is VAT included in the listed price?

Is cheap Thermage fake?
Question the conditions before you question authenticity. Tips are single-use and the device logs the shot count, so a genuine treatment can be verified. If a quote is dramatically lower, ask about the energy setting, the actual number of shots and who is treating you. Lower energy hurts less. Turn the intensity down without redesigning how the shots are distributed, though, and the result can come out weaker too.
When should I book Thermage on a trip to Seoul?
Expect some redness right after, fading within a few hours to a day. It is a same-day procedure, so there is no recovery day to budget for, and flying home the next day is fine. Tenderness when you press the skin, or a slightly bumpy feel to the surface, can show up temporarily and usually settles within a few weeks. Skip saunas and alcohol for one week. The result builds over 2 to 6 months. With a wedding or a big event ahead, book at least 6 weeks before. Year-end dates fill up first, so if your travel dates are fixed, book the consultation early.
