What Is Shurink Universe?

Shurink Universe is a non-invasive HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) lifting treatment using a Korean-made device from CLASSYS. Rather than cutting the skin, focused ultrasound energy is delivered to precise points deep beneath the surface, creating tiny thermal coagulation spots. As these repair, new collagen is stimulated and tissue contracts, firming the skin and refining facial contour. Shurink Universe is a popular option for those seeking natural-looking skin tightening without surgery or significant downtime. Like a magnifying glass gathering scattered sunlight into a single point, focused ultrasound energy is concentrated at precise points deep within the skin, stimulating new collagen formation right at those spots.

What to Expect: The Shurink Universe Treatment Process

1. Consultation: The doctor evaluates skin condition and firmness, checks for contraindications, and determines the appropriate area, depth, and coverage. Any recent procedures or current medications should be mentioned at this stage. 2. Cleansing & Mapping: The treatment area is cleansed and marked. If needed, numbing cream is applied and left for approximately 15 minutes, adjustable based on individual sensitivity. 3. Ultrasound Gel Application: Gel is applied generously to the skin and cartridge to ensure even energy transfer. 4. Energy Delivery: The cartridge is held flush against the skin and ultrasound is delivered point-by-point to the target depth. To avoid unwanted changes such as hollowing of the cheeks, a cartridge (tip) suited to the area and depth is selected, and treatment is carried out with careful attention to each individual's facial structure and design. The device is designed not to fire unless the cartridge is in proper contact and gel is present. Skin response is monitored throughout, and settings can be paused or adjusted at any point. 5. Finish: Soothing care and aftercare guidance are provided. Total session time varies with the area treated but is relatively short.

When Will Shurink Universe Results Appear — and How Long Do They Last?

As new collagen takes time to form, changes typically begin around 3-4 weeks and are most noticeable at approximately 3 months post-treatment. Results from a single session are commonly maintained for around 3 months, with longer maintenance reported after repeated sessions. The degree and duration of improvement vary considerably with age, skin thickness, and lifestyle. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Shurink Universe Safety Information & Aftercare

Temporary stinging, redness, swelling, tenderness, or a heavy, aching sensation may occur after treatment, and in most cases these settle over time. Rarely, burns or temporary altered or reduced sensation may occur. On the day of treatment it is best to avoid excessive heat exposure such as saunas, hot compresses, and hot baths, as well as excessive alcohol and vigorous exercise. Please pay attention to moisturizing and sun protection. Treatment may be restricted, or confirmation by the medical team may be required beforehand, in the following situations: an open wound, active inflammation, or infection in the treatment area; metallic implants in the treatment area; a bleeding disorder or use of anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents; pregnancy or breastfeeding; uncontrolled systemic disease or active autoimmune disease; a confirmed or suspected malignancy in the treatment area. If an implantable electronic medical device such as a pacemaker is in use, please inform the medical team in advance of the device type and the intended treatment area. If pain, altered sensation, or other unexpected symptoms persist or worsen after treatment, please contact the clinic.
