What “foreigner-friendly” means in practice
For most international visitors, a clinic is foreigner-friendly when you can understand everything without Korean, see the price before you go, pay with the card you brought, and get answers after you fly home. At REPIC Clinic Gangnam, English, Chinese and Japanese interpreters are on site, and Arabic, Spanish, Russian and other languages can be arranged with a week’s notice. The website is available in eight languages.
Treatment prices are posted on the website in English and exclude 10% VAT. The same prices apply to Korean and international patients. You can pay by overseas credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, UnionPay and others), Alipay or WeChat Pay.
Consultation, diagnosis and treatment
Consultations and treatments are carried out by the doctors themselves. The clinic uses MarkVu and MetaVu skin analysis devices, and skin types are described with RSTI (REPIC Skin Type Index), a skin-type index developed by REPIC Clinic. Your skin analysis report and treatment record can be issued in a foreign language, so you have a written record to take home.
