REPIC Clinic Gangnam · Skin boosters (Rejuran, PDRN, Juvelook, exosome)
Rejuran, Juvelook, PDRN or exosome — which skin booster should I get in Korea?
REPIC Clinic Gangnam in Seoul offers four kinds of skin booster — Rejuran (PN from salmon DNA), PDRN injection (salmon-derived PDRN), Juvelook (a collagen booster containing polylactic acid) and ASCE+ Exosome (applied after micro-needling, not injected) — and a doctor recommends one or a combination after examining your skin.
They differ in ingredient, how they are given, session spacing and downtime, so the right choice depends on your skin concern and how long you are in Korea.
At a glance
- Rejuran Healer: PN injected into the shallow dermis; about 20 minutes; around 2 days of downtime; series spaced 2–3 weeks apart
- PDRN injection: salmon-derived PDRN micro-injections; about 15 minutes; around 1 day of downtime; series at 2–3 week intervals
- Juvelook: polylactic acid (PLA) collagen booster; about 30–40 minutes; mild redness or swelling may last 1–2 days; 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart
- ASCE+ Exosome: applied after MTS micro-needling (direct injection of exosomes is not approved in Korea); about 20 minutes; minimal downtime
- None is a filler — all aim at gradual changes in skin quality, and results vary between people
- Consultations and treatments are carried out by the doctors themselves
- Interpreters on site: English, Chinese and Japanese; Arabic, Spanish, Russian and other languages if you book at least one week ahead (a separate booking fee may apply)
- Location: 318 Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (B1 & 2F) — about a 7-minute walk from Gangnam Station Exit 4; the nearest bus stop is "Raemian Apt. · Financial News" on the Gangnam-daero median bus lane
How the four boosters differ
Rejuran Healer delivers PN (polynucleotide) purified from salmon DNA into the skin to support its own repair and help it hold moisture. Variants include Rejuran HB, which contains hyaluronic acid and lidocaine for more moisture and less discomfort, and Rejuran i for the area around the eyes. PDRN injection uses a different salmon-derived ingredient, PDRN, and is often considered for reactive or sensitive skin.
Juvelook contains polylactic acid (PLA), which is intended to stimulate collagen production; our treatment page describes increased hydration and smoothness within 1–2 weeks and more gradual changes over 3–6 months. ASCE+ Exosome delivers signaling particles from stem cell culture: because direct injection of exosomes is not approved in Korea, fine channels are made with non-metallic MTS micro-needling and the ampoule is then applied to the skin.
Matching a booster to your concern
Dryness, rough texture and fine lines are common reasons people ask about Rejuran or PDRN. Juvelook is often discussed when someone also wants gradual support for firmness and fine lines over several months. ASCE+ Exosome is described as an easy option when the skin looks dull or lacks radiance, or after lasers or peels, because downtime is minimal. These are starting points only — the doctor makes the recommendation after looking at your skin, and may suggest a combination.
For acne scars, boosters can be part of a larger plan. REPIC Scar Care combines subcision and CureJet with Juvelook Volume, and its full-face programs add PDRN or Rejuran Healer.
Fitting a booster into a trip
All four build up over a series, and the spacing differs: 2–3 weeks for Rejuran and PDRN, 4–6 weeks for Juvelook, and 1–2 week intervals for those who can return for exosome care. A single session fits easily into a visit; tell the doctor your travel dates so they can explain what one session can do. ASCE+ Exosome has minimal downtime, PDRN around 1 day, Rejuran around 2 days, and Juvelook may cause mild redness or swelling for 1–2 days.
None of these boosters is recommended during pregnancy, and you should tell the doctor about allergies (including fish allergy for Rejuran and PDRN), blood-thinning medication and any history of keloids. Prices for Rejuran and Juvelook are posted in English on our website; listed prices exclude 10% VAT.

Frequently asked questions
- Are skin boosters the same as fillers?
- No. Fillers add volume. Rejuran, PDRN, Juvelook and ASCE+ Exosome aim at gradual changes in skin quality and are not used to fill deep lines.
- Which booster has the least downtime?
- ASCE+ Exosome has minimal downtime. PDRN is around 1 day, Rejuran around 2 days, and Juvelook may cause mild redness or swelling for 1–2 days.
- Is the exosome injected?
- No. Direct injection of exosomes is not approved in Korea, so REPIC creates fine channels with MTS micro-needling and then applies the ampoule.
- Can I combine boosters in one visit?
- Sometimes. Whether and in what order to combine treatments is decided at the consultation based on your skin.
- How do I know the Rejuran is genuine?
- At REPIC Clinic the Rejuran product is opened in front of you, and a certificate of authenticity is provided.
